Experience
I have taught middle school English and high school English (American Literature, Contemporary Literature, World Literature, Shakespeare, Intro to Literature). For the past eight years, I taught Developmental Writing at Community College of Denver. I've also run an after school program. Because of my varied experiences, I am flexible and able to help a wide variety of students. I enjoy working with students and helping them grow. I am patient and kind and feel that I will always enjoy teaching!

Hobbies
I've taught students from the age of 13-72! I am easy going, organized, and try to break learning down to understandable levels and then build up from there. Besides being a classroom teacher for 24 years, I have tutored and taught in an after school program. I live in Arvada. For hobbies, I love being with my family watching sports, going to movies, being active in church, and on my own I love to read and garden.
