I have taught students of all ages for eleven years. My teaching experience began when I started a middle school coaching program and I have continued with a passion that showed me education was the path to pursue in life. I have received a National Award for Teachers, which is given based on the feedback of students nationwide. A great teacher gets students to be engaged in and enjoy subjects rather than be bored out of their minds in school. They also guide kids to strengthen their educational values and make what they learn meaningful in their daily lives.Applying my passion for teaching, I can tutor reading and writing, grammar and mechanics, Spanish, Latin, ESL/ELL, elementary school level math, study skills, PSAT skills, and test prep. I graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. I minored in education but that was just the beginning. My current home is Arvada, Colorado and when I am not serving as a guide and mentor to my students, I love to read, paint, dance, and write. I also enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities when I have time off.
