Experience
I was a teaching assistant at Chaffey College. I TA'd Intro to Composition, Creative Writing, Critical Thinking and British Literature. I also TA'd Art History. The classes I TA'd were A Survey of Art History from the Beginning to the Modern, History of Photography, Contemporary Art History, Women in art. I have worked as a Middle and High School English/History Teacher. I taught every English class from 7th - 12th Grade (Including AP Literature and Composition), I also taught 7th and 9th grade World History. I have worked in Denver Public Schools as a Middle and High school tutor for Vista Academy. My responsibilities included tutoring all classes and all subjects. Beyond that I was the speech and debate coach for Vista, as well. At UCLA I taught visiting scholars and students English, as well as working in an Adult Literacy program through the Los Angeles Public Library System.
