Psychology Major with an Emphasis in Biblical Studies. 3.98 GPA. 2012 I took a plethora of AP classes, clep tests, and college transfer courses my Junior and Senior year of high school. Because of this, I only had to spend 2 and a half years at college before I graduated. I graduated summa cum laude.
Experience
I have been a tutor for the History and Philosophy of Psychology as well as Physiological Psychology for college students. I have tutored an array of courses for high school students. I want to be a tutor because I have an insatiable love for learning and adore passing on what I've learned to others. Relevant classes: Grief and Loss Addictions Crisis and Trauma Clinical Psychology French I, II, and III I have also taught English to ESL students.

Hobbies
I am an individual who believes making anything into an outdoor activity immediately makes it better. My off days are spent hiking and kayaking or merely striking up conversations with everyday people I meet. I have a love for traveling and only returned to the US about a year ago after living and working abroad in Rwanda. Trauma has always intrigued me, but more importantly, how we return to a new sense of normal and a new understanding of who we are post-trauma. I love mentoring young women who have been victims of abuse, parentless, or have ended up in halfway houses. Many of my mentees are girls who have lived on the streets and along the way forgot about their worth. I love reminding these young women of their worth and value as human beings.
